Xinghai Square
Xinghai Square is located in the heart of the southern coast of Shahekou District, Dalian City, Liaoning Province, China. It is the largest city square in the world by area, covering a total area of 110 hectares, all of which was reclaimed from the sea. Its name means 'Sea of Stars'. The square was completed and opened to the public for free on June 30, 1997, to commemorate the return of Hong Kong.

Xinghai Park
Xinghai Park is located on the southern coast of Dalian and is a famous local seaside park. The park was originally built in 1909 by the South Manchuria Railway Company, named "Hoshigaura" (meaning "Star Beach"), and was a comprehensive resort integrating a bathing beach, a golf course, and the Hoshigaura Yamato Hotel.
