His vibrant and whimsical works feature patterns of birds, animals, and people, attracting numerous visitors and making it a highly representative cultural and creative landmark in Taichung. The village was saved from demolition due to its unique artistic charm and has now become a popular tourist destination, especially favored by Asian visitors.
