It consists of two parts: Shenzhen Bay Coastal Leisure Belt and Shenzhen Mangrove Seashore Ecological Park. The park is renowned for its mangroves and habitats for numerous endangered bird species, making it an excellent spot for birdwatching. The park stretches 13 kilometers along Binhai Avenue and Binhe Avenue, featuring walking and cycling paths, and is divided into over a dozen themed areas, including Zhongwan Yuehai Plaza, Haiyun Garden, Bailu Slope, Beiwang Lugang, Xiaoshan Hill, Universiade Torch Tower, Liuhua Hill, Crescent Valley, Sunrise Theater, Tidal Wetland, Wedding Plaza, Guanhai Trestle Bridge, and Haifeng Sports Plaza, among others. Among these, the Universiade Torch Tower, standing 26 meters tall, became a new urban landmark after Shenzhen hosted the 2011 Summer Universiade. Motor vehicles are prohibited within the park.
