921 Earthquake Museum of Taiwan

The 921 Earthquake Museum of Taiwan is a national museum located in Wufeng District, Taichung City, Taiwan. It is dedicated to commemorating the 7.3-magnitude earthquake that struck central Taiwan at 1:47:12.6 AM on September 21, 1999. The museum is built on the site of the former Guangfu Junior High School, with its building shell forming the museum's outer walls. Its Chelungpu Fault Preservation Hall spans the fault line where the earthquake occurred.
